"One day in nature can undo
months of disconnection."
Sound Familiar?
"I know nature is good for me... I just don't make the time for it."
You scroll past the pretty forest photos. You say "I need to get outside more." You mean it every time. And then Monday happens again.
This day is the one you've been promising yourself. Not a hike. Not a spa. A real, full-day immersion in living land to reset your nervous system and set some intentions under the New Moon... guided by someone who knows how to help you actually feel it, not just walk through it.
You'll leave with a little soil under your fingernails, lake water in your memory, and something in your chest a little more open than when you arrived. No experience needed. Just show up.

This day is for you if...
You're craving something
real and alive
You feel most yourself outdoors but rarely make time for it
You want to slow down in a way that actually sticks past the weekend
You're in a season of change and need space to hear yourself think
You're curious about connecting with the land but don't want a lecture, you want an experience
You want real conversation with real people in a gorgeous, living setting
You just want a beautiful, meaningful day that has nothing to do with a device
Welcome Circle + Grounding
Arrive, settle, leave the week at the gate. We open with a grounding circle — breathing, intention-setting, and an honest check-in. Light snacks and morning refreshments waiting for you.
How the Day Unfolds... This isn't a schedule, it's a journey.
Hands and Feet in the Soil
We move into the living permaculture space for hands-on earth work... planting, tending, building. Jenny guides you in connecting with the land not as a gardening class, but as a conversation. What does it feel like to touch something truly alive?
Paddleboard, Canoe & Island Grounding
We take to the water... paddleboarding, canoeing and kayaking out to a small island where Jenny leads a barefoot grounding meditation with the elements. Water as emotional release. Movement as trust. Stillness as arrival.
Farm Crawl Tour
The Seneca Treehouse Project is part of a local farm crawl this same weekend. Step into a wider exploration of the land and the people tending it... or stay back, journal, and let the day settle. Both are completely right.
Harvest Table Potluck
Everyone brings one dish to share. The outdoor kitchen comes alive, the table fills up, and something happens around shared food that doesn't happen anywhere else. This is community. This is the practice. Light snacks and refreshments are provided throughout , food is where we all contribute.
Embodied Practice and Fireside Closing
We close the day with gentle movement and embodiment practice to let everything settle into your body, then gather around the fire for a closing ceremony to seal the day and release what you're ready to leave behind.
WHAT PEOPLE SAY
They came once.
They keep coming back.

Just the boost I needed. I've already been working on my self-compassion (which is so difficult for us women), and this workshop was offered at just the right time that I needed a boost and validation, I enjoyed being in the outdoors with other ladies who face the same struggles I do. The exercises that we did during the hike were eye-opening, encouraging, and practical to use on a daily basis. I will definitely start adding my "triumphs" into my daily life. I would recommend for any woman who just needs a boost.

I have had the opportunity to go on a few Women Wellness Retreats led by Jenny and they have all been so fun and such a great soul refresher. If anyone ever has an opportunity to do a retreat, I HIGHLY recommend it!

It was the PERFECT day to hike, reconnect with nature, feel empowered and uplifted! If you ever have the opportunity to attend one of Jenny's Women Wellness Workshops, I encourage you to participate. This is my 2nd workshop that I've attended and I travelled over 7 hours to be here (totally worth it). She is a phenomenal wellness coach and you walk away feeling fantastic!! She provides he tools and resources needed for self care and self love! Thanks again, Jenny, for another great workshop! Looking forward to the next one!!
🌟 Your Guide for the Day 🌟
Jenny Burton
Transformational Coach | Permaculture Designer In Training | Lover of Nature
Jenny has spent years creating experiences that help people come back to themselves... through hypnotherapy, coaching, and retreats that blend the practical with the deeply meaningful. Her superpower is making the "woo" feel completely accessible, and the ordinary feel completely magical.
Her background in permaculture isn't about teaching you to farm. It's about showing you that the same principles that make land thrive... reciprocity, observation, working with what's already there... are the exact same ones that make humans thrive too.
"I'm not a permaculture teacher. I'm someone who learned to listen to the land... and now I help other people hear it too."

THE MEDICINE OF THE DAY
Four elements. One day.
Jenny works with the classical elements as portals... each one a different doorway back to yourself.
🌍
EARTH
Hands in soil, feet on ground. Stability, presence, the feeling of belonging somewhere.
🌬️
AIR
Breathwork, open sky, the space between thoughts. Clarity lives here.
💧
WATER
On the lake, in flow, releasing. Water teaches us to move without forcing.
🔥
FIRE
Your inner spark... what ignites you, what you're finally ready to burn away.
FAQ
Let's get you out
of your head
Do I need any experience — permaculture, meditation, anything like that?
Not even a little. You don't need to know what permaculture is. You don't need a meditation practice. You just need to be willing to show up and be present. Jenny meets you exactly where you are — always.
What do I bring?
Comfortable clothes you don't mind getting dirty, water shoes or sandals for the lake, sunscreen, a journal if you have one — and one dish to share at the harvest table lunch. You'll get a full welcome guide with all the details when you register.
What should I bring for the potluck?
Something simple, nourishing, and shareable — a salad, a grain bowl, a dip and bread, something from your kitchen or garden. There's no pressure to be a chef. The welcome guide will include dish coordination so nothing doubles up and everyone is covered.
Is the paddleboarding, kayaking or canoeing mandatory?
The water journey is a meaningful part of the day, but we're not here to push anyone past their edge. If the water isn't for you, there's a shoreside version of the practice that's just as powerful. Just let Jenny know.
